Hey, still running the same ads?
Imagine wearing the same outfit every day. Fun the first time, right?
But after a week, people are probably going to say, “Don’t you have anything else to wear?”
Well, that’s exactly how your customers feel when they keep seeing the same ads.
Nobody’s asking: “Can you show me that ad I’ve already seen 10 times again?” Or, “Tell me what I already know.”
No, people want something new! Something fresh. And that, dear entrepreneur, is why you always need to think about new ads.
Why Ad Fatigue Is Your Biggest Enemy
I still remember the first time I launched my ad.
I got tons of clicks and responses. It was fantastic.
But a few weeks later... nothing. Dead silence.
That’s ad fatigue – when your audience sees your ads so often that they literally get tired of them.
And what happens when people get tired? Exactly, they tune out. They scroll right past without looking.
So, how do you stop your ads from becoming just another annoying image people ignore while scrolling through their screens?
Keep Your Ads Fresh and Relevant
Don’t worry, I’m not saying you need to come up with a new ad every single day (nobody has time for that).
But you can refresh your content with some clever tricks:
Switch visuals: Rotate in new images or videos.
Change angles: Focus one time on your customers’ pain points, and the next on the benefits of your product.
Test different messages: Play with the text. Sometimes humor works, other times a serious tone hits harder.
Vary and experiment so your audience never knows exactly what to expect. That way, they stay interested!
New Is Exciting!
Imagine eating the same breakfast every single day. How long would it take before you crave something different?
Exactly, not long. You want variety!
The same goes for your audience.
Your ads always need to feel fresh so people keep clicking, keep watching, and – most importantly – keep buying.
If you keep showing the same thing, they’ll start wondering why they should pay attention at all.
And we don’t want that.
So, what’s the plan?
Always think ahead for the next step for your ads. New visuals, new text, new angles.
Because if you’re not innovating, someone else will.
